Our client is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer in Kansas City, MO to support the delivery of essential water infrastructure projects. The role involves technical design, project coordination, and client engagement across a range of water and wastewater systems. responsibilities.

• Plan, design, and deliver water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction

• Lead or support projects involving treatment facilities, distribution systems, and collection systems

• Prepare technical studies, engineering reports, construction drawings, and contract documents

• Coordinate with subconsultants and internal teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements

• Manage project tasks while maintaining quality standards and regulatory compliance

• Work directly with clients to define needs, present solutions, and maintain long-term relationships

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the discipline

• Participate in business development activities and professional organizations

qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline

• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain regional licensure within a defined timeframe

• 5+ years of experience in water and/or wastewater system planning and design

• Experience with treatment processes, pumping systems, and conveyance infrastructure

• Demonstrated project management experience

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

• Proficiency with standard office and engineering documentation tools

• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple offices and disciplines
