Our client is seeking an early-career Traffic Design Engineer (EI) to join their Orlando team. This role offers the opportunity to build technical expertise in traffic engineering while contributing to real-world infrastructure projects.

• Assist in the preparation of traffic design plans and technical documentation

• Support signal, ITS, and roadway-related design tasks

• Contribute to project deliverables under the guidance of senior engineers

• Perform basic engineering calculations and data analysis

• Coordinate with internal teams on multidisciplinary projects

• Participate in design reviews and quality assurance processes

• Develop knowledge of applicable standards and design practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• Engineer Intern (E.I.) certification preferred but not required

• 1–2 years of relevant experience (internships or entry-level roles considered)

• Exposure to roadway or traffic design is advantageous

• Interest in developing expertise in traffic engineering systems
