Our client is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to serve as a design Team Leader within their Traffic Systems group in Orlando, Florida. This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer ready to step into a leadership position within signalization and traffic systems design.

responsibilities.

• Lead signalization design projects in compliance with FDOT standards

• Provide technical oversight for traffic systems assignments

• Support ITS design efforts (experience preferred)

• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff

• Ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance

• Coordinate with project managers and discipline leads

• Contribute to client communications and project development

qualifications.

• 4–7 years of traffic engineering experience

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)

• Minimum 2 years post-licensure experience

• Strong experience in traffic signalization design

• ITS design experience preferred

• Prior leadership or group coordination experience desirable
