Our client—a leading environmental consulting and engineering firm—is expanding its operations and seeking a talented Senior Environmental Engineer to join its dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of impactful projects across the Eastern US.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, hands-on engineer with practical experience in various remediation technologies and equipment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design large and small-scale remedial systems addressing soil, groundwater, and vapor contamination in compliance with CERCLA, RCRA, and state programs.

  • Write and review technical reports, Health & Safety plans, and Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Conduct data compilation, statistical evaluation, and 3D modeling to guide remediation strategies.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, vendors, and stakeholders.

  • Prepare feasibility studies, design reports, remedial action plans, and cost estimates.

  • Oversee onsite construction and participate in process/facility engineering projects.

  • Troubleshoot and support operational data collection and system management.

  • Lead pilot studies, field testing, and manage O&M of remedial systems.


qualifications.

  • Advanced proficiency in drafting remedial system designs, specifications, and equipment layouts.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.

  • Expertise in vapor mitigation, groundwater/soil remediation, and system O&M.

  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Project/task management experience, including proposal writing.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and regional travel up to 35% annually.

  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.

  • 6–15 years of relevant experience.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • P.E. License.
