Our client is seeking an experienced Project Civil Engineer to join their growing site development team across Texas and Oklahoma, with flexible remote and hybrid working options available. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer who wants to take ownership of complex land development projects while contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

responsibilities.
Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and technical design documentation
Perform detailed calculations, cost estimates, and comparative analyses for design alternatives
Contribute to defining project scope, schedules, and budgets; assist with progress tracking and reporting
Coordinate design activities across multidisciplinary teams and ensure alignment with project objectives
Lead and support site design efforts, including grading, utilities, and drainage systems
Provide direction to junior engineers and technical staff; review work for accuracy and quality
Maintain project documentation including drawings, correspondence, and records
Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to senior stakeholders and project managers
Participate in client meetings and support ongoing client relationship management
Assist with proposal development and broader business development initiatives
Manage smaller projects independently when required
qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 6+ years of experience in civil/site development engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
Strong technical expertise in site layout, grading, utility design, and erosion control
Familiarity with permitting and regulatory approval processes
Proficiency in Civil 3D or similar design software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and site visits
