Roadway Design Engineer (Project Engineer) | Orlando, FL / Tallahassee, FL

Our client is expanding their Highway Group and seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to join their team in either Orlando or Tallahassee, Florida. This opportunity is suited to an Engineer Intern (EI) or newly licensed PE with strong FDOT roadway design experience.

The organization provides transportation engineering services across the state and supports a collaborative, technically focused environment.

responsibilities.

• Prepare roadway design plans in accordance with FDOT standards

• Develop Temporary Traffic Control (TCP) plans

• Perform quantity calculations and production support

• Conduct quality control reviews of design deliverables

• Support widening and capacity improvement projects

• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders

qualifications.

• 4–5 years of roadway design experience

• Engineer Intern (EI) or newly licensed PE

• FDOT project experience required

• Experience with TCP design

• Quantity takeoff and QC experience required

• Widening/capacity project experience preferred

• Turnpike Enterprise project experience a plus

salary.

$90,000 – $96,000 annually
