Our client is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer (EI) in Orlando, Punta Gorda or Tallahassee, Florida to support transportation infrastructure projects across Florida. This role focuses on roadway design and modelling, with opportunities to contribute to complex, large-scale developments.

responsibilities.

• Develop roadway design plans and engineering models

• Apply relevant design standards and guidelines to project work

• Perform geometric design and 3D modelling for transportation projects

• Prepare technical documentation including reports and specifications

• Collaborate with traffic, structural, and planning teams

• Support permitting and approvals processes

• Assist with project coordination and delivery

qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

• 2+ years of roadway design experience

• Engineer Intern (E.I.) certification preferred

• Experience with roadway modelling and design software required

• Knowledge of state DOT standards strongly preferred

• Experience with 3D modelling tools considered advantageous

• Strong technical and problem-solving abilities

$75,000 – $95,000 (higher for candidates with advanced modelling or specialist skills)
