A well-established infrastructure services firm is seeking talented Water/Wastewater Project Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in water and wastewater design to join its teams in Houston or Round Rock, Texas. The successful candidate will contribute to municipal water/wastewater projects, including the design of treatment plants, pipelines, lift and pump stations, and modeling of water systems. This role requires strong technical skills, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to manage tasks independently.
responsibilities.
Serve as a Task Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Manager with responsibilities including budget management, scheduling, and client communication.
Prepare construction documents and provide construction administration services.
Perform civil engineering design and analysis for water and wastewater projects.
Provide direction to junior and technical staff to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Develop feasibility studies, preliminary engineering reports, and master plans.
Interpret and coordinate designs with survey and utility disciplines.
qualifications.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or the ability to obtain it within 6 months.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater design and construction.
Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Proficiency in Civil3D or MicroStation.

Experience in designing public sector water and wastewater pipelines.
Previous leadership roles as a Task Lead or Project Manager.
Experience with master planning or system modeling.
