Our client is looking for a Practice Builder to expand their land development team in Sacramento. They work across commercial, residential, and public-sector development projects throughout the region.

responsibilities.

You’ll lead a team focused on land development planning and engineering, set practice-level strategy, and maintain strong client partnerships. The role involves project oversight, staff development, strategic business planning, and promoting a collaborative team culture. You’ll manage financial performance, transition work to capable staff, mentor future leaders, and drive overall practice growth. High performance is rewarded through a bonus structure tied to results.

qualifications.

• Established local industry relationships, strong Civil 3D skills, and experience developing scopes, budgets, and proposals.

• Demonstrated positive communication and team leadership skills with a history of profitable delivery.

• At least fifteen years overseeing land development work.

• Civil engineering degree and active California P.E. license.
