Our client is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Edison, New Jersey to support water and wastewater treatment initiatives across New Jersey. They are looking for a licensed engineer with strong experience in biological treatment and multidisciplinary project delivery.

responsibilities.

• Support assessment and design of water and wastewater treatment systems

• Coordinate design and commissioning activities across disciplines

• Lead biological treatment evaluations and system improvements

• Contribute to remediation and industrial treatment engineering

• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications

• Coordinate with QA/QC and project support teams

• Develop scopes, schedules, and budget estimates

• Support construction-phase engineering services

• Travel as needed for project support

• Mentor junior engineers

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain New Jersey licensure

• 7+ years of experience in biological treatment systems

• Water and wastewater process engineering experience

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• AutoCAD and/or GIS familiarity preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
