They are currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer in Tampa, Florida. They empower their teams to deliver creative solutions that address today’s infrastructure challenges while shaping a more sustainable tomorrow.


The Project Engineer plays a key role in designing and delivering complex water and wastewater systems that support sustainable infrastructure. This position involves advanced technical design, project coordination, and mentorship of junior engineers within multidisciplinary project teams.


responsibilities.

  • Plan, schedule, and execute engineering design tasks for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.

  • Mentor and review the work of junior engineers, supporting technical development and quality control.

  • Develop design documents, technical reports, and calculations with accuracy and completeness.

  • Collaborate with project managers and other disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.

  • Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets, identifying potential risks or delays.

  • Recommend design improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and performance.

  • Apply sound judgment and engineering principles in technical decision-making.


qualifications.

  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, or similar design software.

  • Active participation in a professional engineering organization (preferred).

  • Familiarity with QA/QC processes and applicable engineering standards.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Minimum of 4 years of related engineering experience.

    Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required).

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
