Our client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee wastewater and water infrastructure projects for municipal and private clients. This role includes managing system improvements, planning new facilities, and guiding projects from design through construction.


The position will involve supervising project teams, mentoring junior engineers, preparing technical reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will also play a key role in client engagement and developing new business opportunities.


responsibilities.

  • Manage and execute wastewater and water utility projects, including stormwater components.

  • Provide design input on complex treatment and conveyance projects.

  • Prepare bid-ready plans, specifications, and engineering reports.

  • Conduct QA/QC reviews and ensure high-quality project delivery.

  • Develop new business and strengthen client relationships.

  • Support construction and commissioning phases.

  • Oversee permitting processes in Texas.


qualifications.

  • Technical background in treatment plants, distribution systems, lift stations, storage tanks, and groundwater wells.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.

  • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Proven ability to manage project teams and solve technical challenges.

  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas.

  • 8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
