A well known Texas-based organization is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Water Resources) to join their team in Dallas, TX. The firm focuses on stormwater management and water resources projects, offering an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with experience in hydrology and hydraulics. The role provides an opportunity to manage key projects, train and mentor staff, and work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including local, state, and federal entities.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple stormwater management and water resources projects, ensuring they meet both technical and client requirements. This position requires proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, as well as the ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources. The individual will also serve as the primary signing engineer for various projects, leading teams and guiding clients through technical aspects of the projects.

Serve as the primary signing engineer for stormwater management and water resources-related projects.
Utilize industry-standard hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software to perform necessary calculations and analyses.
Provide training and oversight for staff at varying experience levels, ensuring high-quality work and professional development.
Communicate frequently with local, state, federal, and private entities through written reports and verbal updates.
Manage project schedules and budgets for multiple ongoing projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Lead client meetings, presenting technical solutions and addressing client needs and concerns.
qualifications.
Extensive technical experience with industry-standard software, including HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office products. Experience with additional hydraulic modeling software is a plus.
Strong understanding and practical experience with hydrologic and hydraulic principles, including the Rational Method, Unit Hydrograph Methods, Manning’s Equation, and tabular closed system analyses.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas (additional licensure in other states is a plus).
At least 10 years of experience in managing and performing projects related to hydrology and hydraulics.
Excellent technical writing skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
Experience with FEMA Letter of Map Change (LOMC) submittals and coordination preferred.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while mentoring and guiding junior staff.
Familiarity with Texas Dam Safety Regulations and dam breach analysis is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
