moonrise. is currently in search of a Water Resources Engineer (EIT) in Dallas to join a fast growing company that specializes in Stormwater and Water Resources design solutions.

Review submitted flood insurance revisions and evaluate submitted engineering hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analyses to ensure that the analyses are technically accurate
Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D for the development of design plans and grading plans
Complete assignments within the scoped budget and timeframe as assigned
Use of various H&H engineering software as well as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software.
Floodplain mapping using the results from the hydraulic analyses along with digital terrain data.
Prepare technical documents related to work projects
Meet with clients to evaluate progress of projects
Assist in hydrologic and hydraulic calculations
requirements.
Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environment;
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities;
1-3 years’ experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and soil erosion;
Familiarity with relevant standards, Codes of Practice & current design methods;
Proactively working towards Incorporated or Chartered membership with ICE;
Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Master's preferred;
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Candidate must already be based in Dallas-Fort Worth.
Previous design experience in a DFW consulting firm.
US Citizen/US Permanent Resident (no sponsorship available).
