moonrise. is currently in search of a Water Resources Engineer (EIT) in Dallas to join a fast growing company that specializes in Stormwater and Water Resources design solutions.

• Review submitted flood insurance revisions and evaluate submitted engineering hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analyses to ensure that the analyses are technically accurate

• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D for the development of design plans and grading plans

• Complete assignments within the scoped budget and timeframe as assigned

• Use of various H&H engineering software as well as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software.

• Floodplain mapping using the results from the hydraulic analyses along with digital terrain data.

• Prepare technical documents related to work projects

• Meet with clients to evaluate progress of projects

• Assist in hydrologic and hydraulic calculations

requirements.

• Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environment;

• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities;

• 1-3 years’ experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and soil erosion;

• Familiarity with relevant standards, Codes of Practice & current design methods;

• Proactively working towards Incorporated or Chartered membership with ICE;

• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Master's preferred;

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

• Candidate must already be based in Dallas-Fort Worth.

• Previous design experience in a DFW consulting firm.

• US Citizen/US Permanent Resident (no sponsorship available).
