A leading civil and environmental engineering firm is seeking a Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager to join their growing team in Collin County, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to lead a variety of stormwater management and water resources projects for public and private sector clients. responsibilities.

  • Serve as the lead engineer on stormwater management and water resources projects, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies at local, state, and federal levels.

  • Apply advanced knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools and drainage design methodologies.

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables across multiple concurrent assignments.

  • Prepare high-quality reports, technical documents, and engineering calculations.

    Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff.

  • Participate in and lead client meetings and project presentations.


qualifications.

  • Strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles, including the Rational Method, Unit Hydrograph Methods, and Manning’s Equation.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in hydrology and hydraulics project design and management.

  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas (licensure in other states is advantageous).

  • Proficiency with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Familiarity with Texas Dam Safety Regulations and dam breach analysis methods beneficial.

  • Experience with FEMA Letter of Map Change (LOMC) submittals and related coordination preferred.

  • Proven ability to balance multiple projects while leading and supporting a team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
