Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support projects across several locations in Florida. This role will involve leading civil engineering design efforts while managing project delivery for municipal, commercial, and industrial developments.


Our client provides engineering and consulting services across infrastructure, environmental, and development projects. Their teams collaborate closely with clients and regulatory agencies to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions that meet technical and regulatory requirements.

responsibilities.

  • Serve as the lead civil engineer and project manager for infrastructure and development projects.

  • Manage civil engineering design activities from initial concept through construction documentation.

  • Prepare and review design plans, specifications, and supporting technical documentation.

  • Coordinate permitting and regulatory compliance with local and state agencies.

  • Lead design coordination meetings with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.

  • Plan and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to maintain quality and performance standards.

  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.

  • Support business development efforts including proposals, client engagement, and project planning.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient engineering solutions.


qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

  • 10+ years of civil engineering design experience, preferably in consulting.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

  • Experience designing projects for municipal, commercial, or industrial clients.

  • Proficiency with CAD or civil engineering design software.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience leading teams and mentoring junior staff.

  • Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally nationally as required.
