Our client is looking for a Project Manager with a civil engineering background to support healthcare-focused land development work in their Orange, California office. They handle medical campuses, outpatient centers, and a mix of healthcare-related site design projects across the region.
responsibilities.
You’ll lead and support site development engineering for healthcare facilities—from early concepts through permitting and construction documents. Expect to manage technical design tasks, coordinate with jurisdictions, track budgets and schedules, and produce bid packages, specs, and permitting submittals. You’ll guide junior staff, collaborate with internal teams, and work closely with contractors and design partners. Daily work covers everything from site layout and grading to utilities, drainage, due diligence, and regulatory review.
qualifications.
Experience developing plan sets, coordinating with clients, supporting project management tasks, and navigating local permitting.
Ability to manage tasks independently while keeping communication tight and quality high.
Six or more years of civil engineering design experience within land development.
Strong Civil 3D capabilities and comfort with hydrology/hydraulics tools.
Active P.E. license or the ability to secure one within a year.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

$105,000 – $175,000.
