Our client is seeking a Landscape Architect Project Manager to join its growing design and planning team in Oklahoma City. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced landscape architecture professional who is passionate about creating impactful public and private spaces while leading projects from concept through construction.


The successful candidate will contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects including urban environments, community developments, recreational spaces, mixed-use developments, land planning initiatives, and public realm improvements. This role combines project leadership, client engagement, design oversight, and team management within a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.

responsibilities.

  • Lead landscape architecture and site development projects from planning through construction administration

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, invoicing, and overall project delivery

  • Prepare and oversee plans, specifications, reports, and construction documentation

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal project teams

  • Develop project scopes, schedules, proposals, and contract documentation

  • Support business development efforts through client outreach, networking, and proposal preparation

  • Oversee quality control and ensure projects meet professional and regulatory standards

  • Direct and mentor landscape architects, designers, interns, and technical staff

  • Assist clients with negotiations involving consultants, contractors, and vendors

  • Allocate project resources and forecast staffing requirements

  • Participate in public meetings, industry events, and community engagement activities

  • Prepare operational and regulatory reports as required


qualifications.

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university required

  • Approximately 5–10 years of relevant landscape architecture and project management experience

  • Registered Landscape Architect licensure required or ability to obtain reciprocal licensure as needed

  • Experience managing commercial, public sector, land planning, or community development projects

  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and construction administration

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary project teams and client relationships

  • Proficiency with design, project management, and office software platforms

  • Creative problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail

  • Valid driver’s license required
