responsibilities.

The Landscape Architect Project Manager leads design efforts from concept sketches through construction documentation and final delivery. This includes shaping project vision, guiding client conversations, preparing proposals and scopes, and managing schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks.


The role involves developing graphics and technical materials, coordinating with engineers, consultants, agencies, and contractors, and translating input from stakeholders into clear design outcomes.


You’ll mentor junior staff, support interviews and presentations, maintain project records, and travel to project sites as needed. The work spans design, documentation, cost estimating, calculations, meeting facilitation, and steering workflow across teams.


qualifications.

  • Proficiency with CAD, GIS, and other design-driven tools, along with standard office software

  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes and regulations across local, state, and federal levels

  • Skilled in problem-solving, evaluating design options, and recommending solutions

  • Confident leading, coaching, and coordinating people with different working styles

  • Licensed Landscape Architect with roughly 4–6 years of professional experience

  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable balancing multiple deadlines

  • Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships

  • Able to work independently or within a multidisciplinary team

  • Understanding of public works specifications and processes

  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written

  • Experience delivering clear client presentations
