Our client is seeking a Civil Project Engineer (P.E.) to join their Oklahoma City-based infrastructure and development team. The role supports the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects across public and private sectors. The organisation provides multidisciplinary engineering services focused on improving the built environment through practical, high-quality solutions.
responsibilities.
Plan, design, and support the delivery of civil engineering projects including roadways, municipal infrastructure, drainage systems, land development, and aviation-related facilities
Review and interpret technical data such as reports, drawings, surveys, soil analyses, and hydrological information to inform project design
Develop engineering calculations, feasibility assessments, and detailed cost estimates
Produce and revise engineering plans, specifications, schedules, reports, and supporting documentation using industry-standard design software
Coordinate with clients to communicate progress, manage scope changes, and address technical questions or requirements
Liaise with regulatory agencies and public authorities to secure permits and approvals
Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, laboratories, and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated project execution
Monitor project progress and prepare status reports aligned with regulatory, client, and internal requirements
Research applicable codes, regulations, products, and design methodologies to support project outcomes
Stay current with evolving engineering practices, materials, standards, and software tools through ongoing professional development
In a project management capacity, oversee adherence to internal project management processes and provide guidance to supporting engineers and technicians
qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution
Minimum of four years’ relevant civil engineering experience
Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure or Engineer Intern (E.I.) certification required
Active Professional Engineer license in the state of Oklahoma
Strong technical proficiency in civil design and analysis
Demonstrated project coordination and problem-solving capabilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interpret technical, legal, and regulatory documentation
Proficiency with engineering and project software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools, and standard office applications
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required (up to approximately 50%)
