Our client is seeking a Water/Wastewater Treatment Senior Project Engineer in Charleston to support water and wastewater projects across South Carolina. They are looking for a licensed engineer with strong biological treatment experience and a collaborative approach to project delivery.

responsibilities.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams during design and commissioning

• Lead biological treatment process evaluations and improvements

• Prepare technical documentation and construction deliverables

• Design and assess water and wastewater treatment systems

• Develop scopes of work, schedules, and budget estimates

• Support bid and construction-phase engineering services

• Support remediation and industrial treatment projects

• Travel for site visits and client coordination as needed

• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards

• Mentor junior engineers

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain South Carolina licensure

• Water and wastewater process engineering background

• 7+ years of experience in biological treatment systems

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• AutoCAD and/or GIS experience preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

$94,000 – $154,000 dependent on experience.
