Our client is hiring a Water/Wastewater Treatment Senior Project Engineer in Belcamp, MD to support a growing portfolio of projects across Maryland. They are seeking a licensed engineer with strong treatment process expertise who can work across assessment, design, and construction support phases.

responsibilities.

• Support water and wastewater engineering projects from concept through construction

• Design and evaluate biological treatment systems for municipal and industrial facilities

• Assist with bid support, contract documents, and construction engineering services

• Participate in multidisciplinary design coordination and commissioning activities

• Provide technical input for remediation systems and treatment operations

• Prepare technical documentation, calculations, and design deliverables

• Coordinate internally to ensure quality, budget, and schedule alignment

• Mentor junior staff and support technical development

• Perform site visits and moderate travel as required

• Develop scopes, schedules, and cost estimates

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Maryland reciprocity eligibility

• Minimum 7 years of experience in biological treatment systems

• Experience in water and wastewater process engineering

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• AutoCAD and/or GIS familiarity preferred

• Detail-oriented, self-directed work style

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

$94,000 – $154,000, dependent on experience.
