moonrise. is currently leading the search effort for a Water/Wastewater Project Manager in San Diego to join a national, multi-disciplinary consulting firm that specializes in community infrastructure solutions including environmental and water resources, land planning and development, aviation design, and more.

The Project Manager will be lead and manage water and wastewater projects in the San Diego area, focusing on treatment, pipeline, and pump station projects. You will oversee all project phases, including planning, design, permitting, construction, and commissioning, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.

qualifications.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the water/wastewater discipline, with a focus on treatment, pipeline, or pump station projects.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

  • Proficient technical knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, pipeline design, and pump station operations.

  • Experience in preparing and reviewing project proposals, cost estimates, and technical specifications.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to water and wastewater projects.

  • Experienced in project management, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.

  • Strong abilities in project management software and tools.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in California is preferred.
