Our client is looking for a Project Engineer – Land Development to join their Winston-Salem, North Carolina office and lead the design of commercial and residential land development projects.

responsibilities.

You will lead early-stage design, applying mapping, drainage area and buildable area analysis, lot layouts, buffers and zoning requirements. You will interpret topographic and survey data, size BMPs, prepare grading, roadway, parking, storm drainage and utility designs in Civil 3D, manage multiple projects and schedules, coordinate with clients, subconsultants and agencies, and help mentor junior staff.

qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, biological and agricultural engineering, or a related field.

• EI required; PE (or on track to obtain one) strongly preferred.

• 5+ years of civil site design experience.

• Demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Strong understanding of land development, zoning, stormwater and permitting regulations.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, track schedules and budgets, and communicate clearly with clients and agencies.

$80,000 – $120,000.
