The Water Department, Capital Delivery Section at the City of Fort Worth is seeking to hire an experienced highly motivated and qualified Sr. Professional Engineer with design and project management experience to work on water/wastewater plant projects and water/sanitary sewer rehabilitation projects.
Job duties include:
Perform professional civil engineering work including design and contract administration of water and sanitary sewer projects.
Directing and coordinating various City Engineering projects and programs.
Prepare / review and evaluate contractor pay estimates and change orders.
Participates in the planning and development of capital projects.
Inspection of facility and water/sanitary sewer projects.
Preparing for and conduction public meetings.

A Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in civil engineering or related field,
Five years of professional civil engineering experience as a registered professional engineer of which two year must be within related to the area of assigned responsibility is required.
Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. If licensed in another state, continued employment will be contingent upon obtaining registration as a Professional Engineer within the State of Texas within six months of employment.
Candidates must possess a valid Texas Class “C” driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
