Senior Structural Engineer | Orlando/Tallahassee, FL

Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support and expand their transportation structures practice in Orlando, Florida. This role is suited to a licensed PE with strong FDOT experience and a desire to lead and grow a small but technically capable team.

The organization provides multidisciplinary transportation engineering services and is strategically investing in expanding its structures capabilities.

responsibilities.

• Lead structural design efforts for transportation infrastructure projects

• Oversee preparation and review of structural plans and calculations

• Provide mentorship to structural engineers and designers

• Support marketing and business development initiatives

• Assist in building and growing the structures team

• Ensure compliance with FDOT standards and project requirements

qualifications.

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)

• Minimum 3+ years (post-licensure) experience

• Proven FDOT transportation structures experience

• Prior leadership or group management experience preferred

• Strong technical knowledge of bridge and structural systems

• Interest in supporting team growth and business development

$140,000 – $190,000 annually, based on experience and leadership background
