Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager – Healthcare, Education + Civic Engineering to join their Charlotte, North Carolina office and lead complex site/civil projects for hospitals, campuses and institutional clients across the Carolinas.

responsibilities.

You will direct healthcare and campus civil projects from concept through completion, partnering with architects, healthcare administrators, mechanical engineers and contractors. You will manage budgets, schedules, staffing and quality, lead permitting with local agencies, manage project risk, and develop strategies to grow the firm’s healthcare and education presence, representing the team at client meetings, conferences and community events.

qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, biological and agricultural engineering, or a related field.

• EI required; PE (or on track to obtain one) strongly preferred.

• 10+ years of civil engineering experience with significant healthcare or campus project exposure.

• Strong knowledge of healthcare facility design standards, site development, utilities and stormwater management.

• Experience with design-bid-build, design-build and CMAR delivery and with multidisciplinary architect teams.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and business development skills.
