Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager – Greenways to join their Raleigh, North Carolina office and help lead an established active transportation and greenways practice that is expanding nationally.

responsibilities.

You will lead active transportation projects such as greenways, multi-use paths, sidewalks and on-street bicycle facilities from concept through construction administration. As the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, you will manage budgets, schedules and resources, lead permitting and regulatory coordination, oversee quality across deliverables, mentor junior staff, and identify opportunities for repeat work and new business.

qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.

• PE registration, with the ability to obtain licensure in other states through comity.

• 8+ years of transportation design experience in the public or private sector.

• Strong corridor modelling skills in Civil 3D; MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer experience is a plus.

• Working knowledge of NACTO and AASHTO standards for greenway and active transportation design.

• Proven ability to manage budgets and schedules, lead teams and build lasting client relationships.
