Our client is looking for a Land Development Senior Engineer to support their expanding Lanham, Maryland team. They are seeking an engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working on diverse land development assignments. The company provides comprehensive civil engineering services focused on efficient, buildable site solutions.

responsibilities.

The role involves managing civil design tasks across multiple projects—spanning roadway geometry, drainage systems, erosion controls, stormwater management, and utility planning. The engineer will generate construction drawings and presentation materials, coordinate with reviewers and stakeholders, and maintain project schedules and budgets. They’ll also support training and technical guidance for less experienced staff members.

qualifications.

• Candidates must hold a civil engineering bachelor’s degree and bring at least eight years of direct experience in site development.

• Experience navigating local review processes in the D.C. metro area is beneficial.

• Strong abilities in MicroStation or AutoCAD, plus general office software, are required.

• Solid written and verbal communication skills and the ability to juggle several active projects are essential.

• A Maryland PE is helpful but not required.
