Our client is seeking an Intermediate Stormwater Management Engineer to support a growing portfolio of municipal infrastructure and land development projects throughout Ontario. This opportunity is suited to an engineering professional with strong technical capabilities and hands-on experience in stormwater analysis, hydraulic modelling, and municipal servicing design.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineering staff on a variety of projects involving subdivision servicing, watershed planning, stormwater infrastructure, and floodplain analysis. The role offers exposure to technically challenging assignments within a collaborative consulting environment focused on sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Our client delivers engineering and consulting services related to municipal infrastructure, water resources, environmental servicing, and land development planning for both public and private sector clients.
responsibilities.
Assist in the preparation of stormwater management studies, servicing reports, and hydraulic analyses
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modelling for municipal and land development projects
Support subdivision servicing and watershed planning assignments
Contribute to 1D and 2D floodplain analysis and drainage studies
Coordinate technical information with multidisciplinary project teams
Prepare technical documentation, calculations, and engineering reports
Assist with regulatory approvals and coordination with municipalities and external agencies
Review engineering designs for compliance with applicable municipal and provincial standards
Support and collaborate with junior staff and project teams as required
qualifications.
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario is required
5–8 years of relevant stormwater management experience within an engineering consulting environment
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Subdivision servicing projects
Watershed or sub-watershed studies
1D and/or 2D hydraulic and floodplain modelling
Strong written communication and technical reporting abilities
Familiarity with Ontario municipal policies, standards, and development approval processes
Ability to manage priorities and work effectively within a collaborative team setting
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Candidates located within the Greater Toronto Area and available for regular office attendance are preferred

$100,000 – $120,000 CAD annually, based on experience and qualifications.
