Our client is seeking a Staff Surveyor to support survey operations in Plano, TX. This position combines office-based technical work with field responsibilities, contributing to a range of land and infrastructure projects.

• Research deeds, plats, and historical survey records

• Prepare boundary surveys, legal descriptions, and plats

• Establish and verify property boundaries

• Coordinate survey activities with project teams and clients

• Produce topographic and construction-related survey drawings

• Maintain accurate field notes and documentation

• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to quality standards

• Support both fieldwork and office-based survey processing

• Utilise Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Trimble Business Center

qualifications.

• Degree in surveying or related discipline (or equivalent experience)

• 3–8 years of relevant experience preferred

• Licensed Surveyor in Training (SIT) or Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS)

• Proficiency in survey software tools

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and within a team

• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel occasionally
