Regional Practice Leader – Land Development | Greater DMV Area, Northern VA / Central MD

A growing and well-respected engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Regional Practice Leader. This leadership position will be responsible for launching and expanding a new practice focused on site/civil land development within the Northern Virginia or Central Maryland region.

• Leads the establishment and management of a new regional office, including daily operations, team building, and performance oversight

• Oversees financial management and contributes to profitability, with eligibility for performance-based profit sharing

• Drives business development activities to secure new clients and projects within the land development sector

• Recruits, mentors, and manages technical and support staff to ensure project and business success

• Provides high-quality consulting services while maintaining and growing client relationships

• Collaborates with executive leadership to shape and implement a strategic growth plan

  
  

qualifications.

• Holds a current license as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Landscape Architect (PLA)

• Brings a strong record of success in civil/site development and leading consulting teams or practices

• Demonstrates expertise in client development, project delivery, and staff management

• Previous experience in opening or managing regional operations is highly desirable

• Possesses excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
