moonrise. is assisting in the search for an experienced Project Manager in Orlando, Florida to lead traffic systems design projects for a respected organization in the industry. This role offers the opportunity to work on Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects, including SAPM, signals, lighting, and Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS). After 2 years, the Project Manager can be considered for minority ownership invitation.


responsibilities.

  • Lead traffic design projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

  • Manage a team of designers, engineers, and senior project managers, fostering both project success and career growth.

  • Promote growth and development within the team by offering mentorship and leadership.

  • Coordinate and oversee the development of traffic systems for FDOT projects.


qualifications.

  • Florida PE License – registered for a minimum of 2 years (6+ years total post-college experience).

  • Proven experience in traffic systems design and FDOT projects.

  • • Proficiency in MicroStation/ORD (Over the Road Designer).

  • • At least 2 years post-registration experience with FDOT.

  • Strong leadership, initiative, and communication skills.

  • • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering.

  • ITS – Intelligent Traffic Systems experience is a plus.
