position.

The Green Stormwater Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for fostering and maintaining key client relationships in the Carolinas, focusing on the development and implementation of green stormwater infrastructure solutions. This role will involve managing project delivery, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the life cycle of various public and private projects. The individual will also assist with proposals, contracts, and mentoring engineers and designers within the team.


responsibilities.

  • Lead the coordination and successful completion of Green Stormwater Infrastructure projects.

  • Stay at the forefront of evolving green design practices by developing innovative environmental protection strategies.

  • Assist in the development of proposals and contracts to ensure project scope, profitability, and schedule feasibility.

  • Oversee project delivery by working closely with the project team to set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress.

  • Compile and present findings, conduct studies, and prepare reports.

  • Mentor engineers and designers to cultivate a diverse and skilled team.

  • Develop stormwater designs, retrofits, construction drawings, and watershed planning studies.

  • Collaborate with planners and landscape architects to integrate stormwater solutions into site design, reducing flooding and enhancing water quality.

  • Participate in fieldwork and site visits throughout the project’s study, design, and construction phases.


qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.

  • Self-driven with a desire to improve both personally and professionally, and contribute to team and community development.

  • At least 6 years of design experience in water resources, civil engineering, stormwater planning, or green stormwater infrastructure.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to obtain licensure within four months of hire.

  • Professional license in the primary discipline.


qualifications.

  • Familiarity with common stormwater regulations and permitting requirements.

  • Experience with Stormwater Control Measure (SCM) design and modeling.

  • Experience with ArcGIS Pro or other GIS software.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
