Our client is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer (PE) to support land development projects in Little Rock, Arkansas. They operate as a multi-disciplinary design and engineering partner, helping public and private-sector clients bring residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use sites to life. The Civil Engineer will plan, design, and produce construction documents for a variety of land development projects. Daily work includes reviewing surveys, studies, maps, and site data to shape project planning; preparing feasibility assessments and detailed cost estimates; and using engineering design software to create calculations and technical drawings.


They will design grading, utilities, stormwater, and paving systems for single-family, multi-family, commercial, and industrial developments. The role involves coordinating directly with clients on project needs and adjustments, securing approvals and permits from local and state agencies, and collaborating with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.


This person will track project progress, prepare activity reports, research evolving standards and best practices, and maintain knowledge of relevant codes, materials, and technology through ongoing learning.

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution is required.

  • Candidates should be licensed as a Professional Engineer or be an Engineer Intern actively pursuing licensure.

  • Proficiency with engineering and CAD software—such as Autodesk Civil 3D—is expected.

  • Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and an ability to interpret technical data are essential.

  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 20% is required.

  • Applicants should be comfortable working with mathematical and geometric concepts relevant to civil design and be able to manage detailed design tasks with accuracy.
