A well-established, full-service firm specializing in land planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering, transportation, and surveying services is seeking a Senior Project Manager for their Water Resources division in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. The Senior Project Manager will play a crucial role in growing key relationships within the municipal Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and Water Resources sectors in the DFW metro area. This individual will lead stormwater projects, manage client expectations, and oversee the entire project process, from technical design and approvals to construction. The position also includes mentorship and management responsibilities for staff in the DFW office.

  • Lead and support a production team, providing guidance on resource management, resolving complex technical issues, and coaching design and CAD professionals.

  • Assist in the development of both short- and long-term strategic market sector plans, focusing on expanding the DFW market.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand the firm’s services and offerings.

  • Effectively coordinate project resources and schedules to ensure deadlines and workload demands are met.

  • Develop proposals and contracts to define project scope, ensure profitability, and meet project timelines.

  • Oversee the operations and profitability of the Water Resources group in the DFW area.

  • Establish and promote high-quality standards for all projects executed by the team.


qualifications.

  • Expertise in site civil engineering with a focus on CIP planning, stormwater management, and natural resources.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability to independently manage projects from concept to completion.

  • Comprehensive understanding of project budgets, profit margins, and revenue expectations.

  • Strong drive and motivation to grow the Water Resources sector within the DFW market.

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in engineering, project management, or a related field.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (B.S. or equivalent).

  • Proven experience in managing and developing client relationships.

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
