role.
The firm is looking for an experienced environmental Remediation Project Engineer to support and manage remediation projects addressing contaminants in soil, groundwater, stormwater, and air. The ideal candidate will have expertise in multi-state, CERCLA, and RCRA regulations and will be ready to lead design teams and implement a wide range of remedial technologies.
responsibilities.
Prepare, review, and mentor teams in developing design plans, specifications, and reports, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Offer technical guidance and mentorship to teams across multiple offices, while contributing to corporate technical initiatives.
Manage and provide technical assistance for remediation projects of varying scales, from small sites to complex federal facilities.
Lead and support remedial and process engineering projects, including system design, construction, operation, and optimization.
Evaluate data from aquifer tests, pilot studies, sampling events, and modeling to develop effective remediation strategies.
Communicate with regulatory bodies and permitting agencies to ensure project requirements are met.
Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and long-term remediation projections.
qualifications.
Experience with remediation technologies and O&M for contamination in soil, groundwater, stormwater, and air.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental remediation.
A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel overnight.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
