Our client provides comprehensive services in land development, including mixed-use, commercial, residential, industrial, and other infrastructure projects. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for applying your engineering knowledge to a wide range of assignments. This role requires working collaboratively with other engineers and overseeing design tasks while ensuring that project goals and timelines are met.

  • Prepare planning and design documents within the appropriate engineering discipline.

  • Perform engineering calculations, develop cost estimates, and evaluate alternatives to recommend the most efficient solutions.

  • Assist in developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets; track project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.

  • Coordinate design activities with other teams; manage and supervise staff on design tasks; maintain project records and communicate with clients.

  • Contribute to business development efforts, including writing proposals and participating in client meetings.

  • Manage small and medium-sized projects, ensuring that objectives are met on time and within budget.

  • Independently tackle complex assignments and provide guidance to junior staff and technicians.

  • Expertise in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, and navigating regulatory approvals

  • Taking ownership of their work and contributing to community impact

  • Using engineering expertise to improve project outcomes

  • The ability to contribute effectively as part of a team

  • 6+ years of related Civil Engineering experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license

  • Working collaboratively with others

  • Proficiency with Civil 3D software

  • Strong communication skills
