The Municipal Project Manager will plan, design, and direct various engineering projects, such as streets, roads, residential and commercial developments, municipal projects, institutional facilities, drainage projects, and more. This role involves overseeing project budgets, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to engineering plans and standards throughout project execution.
responsibilities.
Attend meetings with city officials, planning commissions, and other stakeholders to represent the firm and provide necessary project updates.Adhere to the firm’s Project Management Plan and ensure all team members follow project guidelines.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, utilities, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Use advanced design software to produce engineering documents and specifications.
Inspect construction sites to ensure conformance with engineering standards.
Manage project budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation.
Analyze reports, maps, and data to design engineering projects.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and assess project feasibility.
qualifications.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification required, with the ability to obtain licenses in other states as needed.
Strong proficiency in technical communication, including the ability to interpret and write complex documents.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BS) from an accredited institution.
Experience with project management tools and software.
5 to 8 years of relevant experience in civil engineering.
