Our client — a leading engineering firm specializing in land development, surveying, land planning and infrastructure design — are looking for an experienced and motivated Land Development Senior Project Manager to join their team in Coppell, TX.

The Land Development Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing land development projects from inception to completion. This includes managing the design, permitting, construction, and client communication processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of land development processes, and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.


responsibilities.

  • Lead and manage land development projects, ensuring successful execution from concept through design, permitting, and construction.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.

  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, local regulations, and best practices to ensure projects comply with all requirements.

  • Manage and mentor junior staff and project teams, providing guidance and fostering professional growth.

  • Ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare and review contracts, proposals, and reports for land development projects.


qualifications.

  • Strong knowledge of land development processes, including site planning, grading, drainage, utilities, and environmental regulations.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams to deliver successful projects.

  • 10 -15 years of experience in land development project management, ideally.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Land Development, or a related field.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
