Our client is looking for a full-time Civil Professional Engineer to join their team in Fort Worth. In this mid-level role, the Civil PE will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of civil engineering projects, including municipal government and private development work. This position will offer valuable experience in both technical and professional skills development, with a focus on managing the full scope of civil engineering projects. The Civil PE will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and project managers, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful and impactful projects.

responsibilities.
Analyze and interpret survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to inform project planning.
Communicate project status to Project Managers, clients, and other stakeholders, preparing reports, data, and project updates.
Plan and design transportation and hydraulic systems, structures, and more using advanced design software.
Perform hydraulic calculations and other necessary computations for design specifications.
Create stormwater, sewer, pipeline, parking, sidewalks, roadway, and other civil design solutions.
Prepare site grading, utility plans, and coordinate with municipal parties for permitting.
qualifications.
Experience with designing civil projects or performing related calculations (land development, roadways, water resources, utilities, etc.).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Building connections and engaging with others is central to the company's work.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office; familiarity with tools like HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, or Bluebeam is a plus.
A degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
A valid Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
