Our client is currently looking for a Civil Design Engineer in their Nashville, Tennessee office.

The Civil Design Engineer will work on a variety of projects in a team environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, culture, learning support, and professional growth. Provide marketing/sales support, project and practice management, and client project involvement where appropriate.
Projects include civil design, solid waste management/landfill design, impoundments, and roadway plans and profiles.
Lead engineering and design efforts for site civil, stormwater drainage, industrial wastewater, and utility design projects.
Participate in and coordinate various design and construction meetings with clients and subcontractors
Mentoring junior-level staff and providing direction to design teams.
Plan, schedule, and conduct detailed phases of design work.
Problem-solve across multi-disciplinary teams
requirements:
Previous experience with civil engineering design capabilities with both municipal and industrial clients.
A minimum of 7 years of civil design experience, preferably with an Engineering consulting firm.
Current PE in the respective state or the ability to obtain a PE license.
Regional travel for client meetings may be required occasionally
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Masters preferred)
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Group management, and mentoring.
Attention to detail.
Strong work ethic.
