moonrise. is partnered with a US-national engineering and construction firm who are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their Commercial & Institutional Land Development team in Greater Boston, Massachusetts.

role.
Effective land development projects depend on close collaboration between developers, regulatory bodies, community stakeholders, consultants, and local review boards. From the outset of each project, the company prioritizes a thorough assessment of its impact on the community, ensuring all moving parts are considered. They focus on executing developments that improve traffic flow, stormwater drainage, water quality, sanitation services, and the built environment.
The Assistant Project Manager will track project deliverables and report progress back to Project Managers in a timely manner. This individual will help coordinate projects from inception to completion, maintaining strong relationships with both vendors and clients.
The role includes planning and implementing projects, preparing proposals, and developing scope, schedule, and budget by collaborating with technical teams and market staff. The Assistant Project Manager will address client needs and resolve any issues that arise during the project. This person will consult with engineers, contractors, and other team members, as well as facilitate communication between office and field staff. The individual must be a self-starter who thrives in a high-paced environment and is adaptable under pressure.
requirements.
Proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
Strong working knowledge of engineering principles with proven practical application
Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences
Ability to manage scope, budget, and schedule for technical tasks
Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience
Willingness to collaborate and assist senior staff
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
Project management experience is preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Understanding of QA/QC procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
